From 2011 to 2012!

I have been planning of blogging several months ago about my year 2011.  A year that for me was the most unforgettable in my entire existence. Challenges, problems, hardships and difficulties of all kind.. I have experienced all of it for the past 365 days! And by God’s unending grace, I surpassed them all.  There was absolutely no complaints, regrets nor grudges because I know that God has perfectly designed this year for me to learn, to appreciate, to grow and to become a better person. :)

While I was reviewing these past events, I just smiled and said, “Ang dami na pala nangyari at nagbago.”  Can’t deny the fact that I am still in awe ‘coz 2011 will soon bid goodbye and all we have to do is to say goodbye as well. However, all of the memoirs and learnings that 2011 will be leaving must be sealed always in our hearts and minds. All I can say is, Salamat po, Lord sa taon na ‘to! :) I am looking forward to better days, higher responsibilities and many opportunities as 2012 knocks.

Just to add up, I am really thankful for this year because God has given me the chance to tighten my relationship with my family, especially with my mom. I really believe that all mothers know the best! During my ups and downs, heartbreaks, school problems, and a lot more, she was there to give me advice, to be my hanky when I feel like crying (even though she’s presently away from us), to be my mentor, my spiritual adviser and most of all, to be my supporter and my protector when I am crashed down from a battle. Thank you Mama! I love you so much! :)

And to those who made my 2011 very bright and colorful, THANK YOU SO MUCH! Hoping you’ll be with my journey again as 2012 starts!!! Let’s start the year with a heart and a soul up for GOD! :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR :)

I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they’re right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together. I miss how things used to be. The late nights, how in the middle of waiting for your reply, I realize it’s been a while and you’ve probably fallen asleep. I miss not running out of things to talk about, and I miss your side comments. Now I get one-word replies or smiley faces, or even worse, sometimes there’s no more reply. I miss not being able to stand not talking. I miss going online and having you say hi in no more than a minute or two after I’ve logged on. Now, often times we don’t even talk anymore. I miss sleeping to a good night sms and waking up to a good morning one. I miss the way things used to be. I miss you. So. Much. I wish you knew.
